Low Sugar & Sweetened Only From Fruit Juice

Nui is made from real fruit juice with no added sugars and it has only half the sugar and calories of apple juice.

Nui has nearly the same sugar level as milk. In a ten-ounce bottle of Nui there are 16 grams of sugar. Compare this to a ten-ounce serving of milk, which contains 15 grams of sugar.

The sweetness and flavors come only from fruit like grapes, apples, pears, oranges, tangerines, and cherries. Many beverages marketed to kids are sweetened with cane sugars, or “high fructose corn syrup” or “crystalline fructose” extracted from corn. Nui is pure goodness from straight from the fruits of nature.

Vitamins & Minerals

Growing bodies have unique nutritional needs and Nui is formulated to give youth an optimal balance of key vitamins and minerals.

Vitamin D – A serving of NUI contains the same amount of Vitamin D as a cup of milk, which is 25% of the recommended daily intake. Vitamin D, also known as calciferol, promotes formation of bone by increasing levels of calcium and phosphorus in the blood.

Calcium – A serving of NUI contains the same amount of calcium as ½ cup of milk, which is 20% of the recommended daily intake. This is very high for a juice-based drink. Calcium is necessary to key body functions such as blood clotting, muscle power, enzyme reactions, communication among cells, and skin growth. It also gives bones and teeth their strength. In fact, the hardest substance in the human body, tooth enamel, is 95% calcium.

Calcium has also been linked with the body’s ability to burn fat and reduce weight. A study published in the December 2005 issue of the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition shows a calcium-rich diet is associated with fat loss.

Normal-weight women ranging in age from 18-30 years were randomly assigned to a low (less than 800 mg per day) or high (1000-1400 mg per day) calcium diet for 1 year, and the rate at which their bodies burned fat after a meal was tested at the beginning and end of the study.
